Thankful!!!

A co-worker at MagnetsUSA supplied us with these 2 wonderful gifts. She has no intentions of more babies so we got the good end of that decision.

It's a Graco stroller and a pack and play that has a bassinet attached to it and a mobile that comes along with it. How grateful are we to receive such a gift with nothing asked in return.

This will be great when she is old enough to sit up more and we can take her on a stroll on the greenway. Just a little wipe down with some soap and we are set. Just having it sit in our living room I catch myself looking over and saying, we will have someone in that stroller very soon. WOW!

Meow, Meow, Meow...I have a warm bed.

She thinks this bed was put up for her, eh? I believe Marilyn wanted to sun bath a little bit today...in the baby bed. I have already washed the sheets Kris gave us and put them on. Guess I will DEFINITELY was those again BEFORE we put the baby in it =)

Yup, she knows she is the young baby right now but move aside lil' girl... this is EllieJo's bed. Enjoy the picture those, she is a cutie.

24 weeks prego!

This is what she is looking like inside my belly. HAHA, that made me laugh. Reminds me of Austin Powers movie.

We are heading into the 7th month here shortly. Yippieeee, 3rd trimester here we come.

We have a doctor appointment on Tuesday morning and then next month we have one I believe on the 20th. After that April appointment we start going every 2 weeks. YIPPIEEEE. Excited to hear her heart beat Tuesday, it's been too long.

Spring Flowers bring Jeanie Smiles.

Just looking at this little spring garden, makes me so EXCITED for the warm weather this weekend. I would LOVE to have some help with our little front yard this spring, any takers? Mom and Dad have already re mulched last year for us but I would LOVE to start some new flowers. Not just in pots.

I always buy flowers to put in pots. I would love to have some pretty ones in the ground. Maybe even lay some MORE mulch since we live in the wind tunnel and it blows AWAY.

23 weeks on Wednesday!!!

WOW! Time is just flying by. On Wednesday we will be in the last week of my 6th month. Can you believe that!! Every book says something different but according to the book the doctor gave me, I am in my 6th month.

She is just rolling around, knocking away inside my stomach to let me know she is there. Over 12 inches long and weighs well into a pound now. Guess that other 20 some pounds is just me!! HA HA

This weekend has been a true blessing by having Saturday-Monday off from work and enjoying the warmer digits. The kitties have been laying in the window and sun bathing. I think they are just as excited as I am to feel the sun.

Don't forget to change your clocks today. SPRING FORWARD and I gladly did. Come on SPRING TIME!!!

Steve and I are singing up for the Susan G Komen race for April. He wants to run it and I will gladly be walking it with my niece Emily.

Have a great week. We go back to the doctor on March 20th to check in on Ellie Jo. One more time in April and then we start going every 2 weeks. Eeek!

Baby Curtains

Here is a picture of the print for the curtains in Ellie's room. Soft pink, lavender, robins egg blue, greens. I am very excited to begin sewing them with my friend Jessica. I might even try to do this by myself using my room curtains as the example. I believe that I would just like a solid print for the baby bedding. So I better go fix that on the registry. =)

Those are the 3 ingredients to making pretty flowers. This was I got to see when I went outside this morning. It made me so thrilled to see bright colors and sunshine. Spring is around the corner *fingers crossed*

Ellie Josephine Bono's Room

Right now her room has been used for storage and my sewing room. Over the past year I have bought 'items' that I thought one day would come in handy and I enjoyed looking at while sewing. The robins egg blue table I bought next door to Onyx, The Salem Mercantile. The picture frame and lamp came from TJMaxx.



The shelves Steve had up there since his roomate Erin lived here. They will be perfect to store items on or baby necessities. Not too sure HOW I can use that corner where the window is. It's just SO narrow. NOTHING in this room is where it is staying put. Steve and I just put the bed together this morning. Thank you Kris and Aaron for lending us the bed.





The curtains are a sage green although I do have to say they are coming down and I want to sew a prettier pair for each window. With help of my sewing buddies =)








This black lamp is NOT staying in the room. I got the 'b' at Anthropologie. One of my FAVORITE stores ever to shop at. Steve, not so much. He knows how expensive this store cost. A little owl candle and a white bird I ALSO got the Salem Mercantile.







Love love love her mirror. I am just TERRIBLE about combining all the items I love so that it flows. My friend Lindsay is great about this and has said she would help me. There is no bedding yet, though I did register for one...I might pick a different one now that it's starting to come together and Im getting a feel for the look......Shabby Chic that is.








Oh, so her name is Ellie Josephine Bono. Her nickname that we have already given her is Ellie Jo. Now we can talk to her and connect on another level. Yippieeeeeee Baby timeeee.

21 weeks!!

Yup, that's right fellas. I am over halfway threw this pregnancy. I can not tell you how exciting and quickly this has passed. Just tonight I had my first encounter of the girl laying completely on my right side. She made my belly look all crazy lop sided. No wonder my back hurt SO MUCH tonight and just on the right side.

Work is hurting my back too much, so tomorrow I am headed to super shoes to find some comfy shoes ((crocs, maybe? )) that are work appropriate. I can't stand to feel this way for a standing 10 hour shift. If my back was not so messed up before getting pregnant it might not be so bad carrying extra weight, but it is and I can't change, it just find solutions...quick!!!
