I was embarrassed to report that in my 5th week I gained 2 pounds back! Stinking Thanksgiving yummy food. I did blow it but I also did not workout for 7 days due to being sick. The whole family has had the cold. These are not excuses but each week has a different result. This week it's on ;) I vow to lose those 2 plus a little more!

Steve and I have noticed HOW MUCH Ellie has been talking. These past few days we are seeing a new side to her. She is putting 3 or 4 words together and today just counted to 4, while at Uma's house. She will be 17 months old on December 8th. Doesn't this just seem UNREAL! We just had her 1st birthday. What!!!

She is getting older...time is flying

4th week of WW

I was able to lose 2 pds this week! But if you count the pound I gained LAST week, I really only lost a pound. But hey, a pound is a pound and makes my clothes fit better ;) So that is 8 pounds gone in a month. Here's onto another month and holiday eating with family. Eek this should be a different week for me. Means working out a little harder to make up for what I WANT to consume on Thursday.

Hope everyone else has had a great week. I am so excited to hang around everyone on Thursday. It's my favorite time of the year. I have been listening to Christmas music since the beginning of November when CONNIE told me:) I just can't get enough. ;)

We Celebrate !!

We spent the day celebrating Mrs. Bono's new beginning in heaven with family and friends today. The weather appeared to be a very dreary fall day but the mood and feelings inside the funeral home were warm and crisp. The love for Mrs. Bono filled every chair and even overflowed with people standing while family from near and far came. She had19 great-grandchildren that took up most of the space. While looking around I could sense the passion of family. A families love runs deep and everyone cares for the other very much. While I am sure there are memories of cousins arguing, chasing each other, pushing each other around yet they can grow as individual people and move forward to come together during this time.
 We sat around and listened to stories of grandmaw  and the sons. I did not have a close relationship with grandmaw, so to hear things about her earlier days shed some light on the woman that she was. I surely did enjoy listening to my father-in-law tell stories, hearing laughter in what is thought to be a sad time. I love that we could enjoy this time and eat great food, catch up with cousins and they could also meet Ellie.

After the events of today I came home and made food for the week. All of these meals are WW approved and have tasted DELICIOUS!! Ellie and Daddy approved :) I made baked spaghetti, banana bread and cola chicken over brown rice. I hope to have a more successful week than last. Started off the week with Just Dance at 5:30 this morning and I have at least 2 more workouts to get in this week.

I believe Ellie is cutting ANOTHER tooth, she did not sleep good last night. Ask Steve :) Nothing big planned this week. Next week Uma will be gone for Thanksgiving break so we are babysitterless on Tuesday and Thursday of NEXT week. If you can help, please let me know :)!!!!

Reporting in my 3rd week of WW. I actually gained 1 pound this week. Even with all my working out (3 times this week) and vein consistent with my food and points, I still gained. Guess I should not have eaten so many yummy desserts and ham biscuits last night;) this is totally OK. It could mean that I could have a great weight loss this week. Just got to make my meals ahead of time and stay on track:) just wanted to be accountable to whoever reads this. So hold me to it ;) this will be going into my fourth week. Do far it has been weight loss all around. Here's to dropping the weight before holidays hit;)


Take a look at some of the pictures I took last night at the reception dinner t The Bonos. I did NOT capture the food that looked amazing but let me tell you this...we could all go into a family business of doing catering. HOW FUN!!!

Our day went something like this: Mom and Dad came and got the black cat and took her to the vet for me. Come to find out she has early kidney failure. She is almost 10 years old so her time is coming to an end...eventually. Ellie was so into the cat carrier that she had to try it out ;) We had a wonderful Mommy Baby day. Ellie got herself stuck in her bucket and cried a LOT. She wanted to have my phone and cried some more.

Emily had her 10th birthday ! What a crazy thing to believe. That really 10 years have FLOWN by. I can't believe I once held held her as an infant. I love you EGN!!!

Romans

Romans 12 is just a solid chapter. That's about all I can say. Short, to the point and bam it's all there;)

20 weeks

As I read up on the news this evening I find myself wanting to throw up! 20 weeks pregnant and your going to ABORT A BABY! Who in the world says this is ok?!??? What 'state' can determine its O-K? The gender is determined at this point, you can truly FEEL the baby moving, it's as long as a banana and makes something in its digestion that creates dark poopie which I forget what that is called. There is so much action going on that I feel you have NO SOUL if your willing to terminate a life. I vote for who keeps life and doesn't take it away.

Cooking day

This morning Ellie and I hit the grocery store early since she thought 7 was 8 this morning. This time going was the most difficult since she has been alive. If the sit harness does NOT WORK don't get that cart :( I mainly needed ingredients to make Cabbage soup and Cowboy soup. These are both Weight Watchers. For a cup of cabbage soup it's 0 points. For a cup of the cowboy soup it has 7 points. How in the world have I never tasted Ranch Beans!? I could have just stood there and ate the can of beans. Those things are amazing!!!

Also I made a purchase of Skinny Cow clusters dark chocolate. OH. MY. WORD! This is heaven in my mouth 4 points for the individual bag. Super good ;)

Busted!!!!

Just like her Daddy, she loves cereal. I caught Ellie sitting on the floor very quietly eating a box of coco pebbles. She knows HOW to shake the bag out of the box and even opened the right end. Boy was this fun to vacuum up;)
