Ten Ten Oh Nine

Yup, that's right everyone! Kate and Alan are a happy old married couple now. Yippieeeeee it's all done and over, we all made it. Ok, so we might be a little sluggish today from dancing on our feet so much. I personally didn't get any time to take pictures so the ones I have are from my friend Sara who is in the picture with me (red hair). Whew, just ask for all the details when I see you cuz Im pooped just thinking about them right now. All I have to say is, 14 months of planning........JOB WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!

p.s----the cake weighed over 150 pds.
Kates hair was a MASTERPIECE done by Marla and Jeanie

Brook and Her momma!

The Angles Sang on Friday

Here is a link to see a friend of mine who passed away this Friday the 24th. Her name was Brook and she was 22 when she passed away from C-A-N-C-E-R. She worked with us at the salon for a while and then went back to another salon to finish up her hours. She was a fearless woman when it came to Star City Roller Girls. She was rough and tough but so kind-hearted and cared for others so deeply. I will surly miss those golden curls and cute button nose she had. Just copy and paste the website bellow to read about Brook.

A heart of gold is what I have seen in you,
There's nothing you have not done, nor I think you won't do.
Your eye's show me truth and warmth you have,
the hold is so tight that none of this feels bad.
Brought up just right in the world of doubt and sorrow
you are a true light in my tomorrow.
Beauty and truth we see in our connection, that we have to
believe this was part of His perfection.
We push forward everyday in our feelings to see
that all this happiness is truly meant to be.
It's almost a scary feeling to be in so deep
it's like an addiction that I really want to keep.
I feel I've waited a lifetime to have this devotion given
to one man who gives back all his emotion.
Let's raise each other up and bring our dreams together
If this is really how it's meant, it will last forever.

These were my feelings and thoughts about Steve before we got engaged, just right after we started dating. He is an amazing best friend, husband, partner, soul mate. I am truly blessed to have a lifetime with this guy. kisses.

P.s---CLICK on the coaster pictures to see the ride UP CLOSE! Mom, you might get sick just looking at how high those people are in the picture! HA

Wow! So it's been a while since we have taken the time to post new pictures and give you an info update on our lives. Sorry if I have failed you. Since June, Steve has celebrated his 33rd birthday, I got the shingles, we went to Myrtle Beach with Kate and Alan and we went to Williamsburg/Busch Gardens for our 1yr. anniversary in September. So, a LOT has gone on these past few months.

Here are a few pictures for you to take a glance at. Starting with the shark that I caught at Myrtle. As soon as we let the little guy back in the water we look down to see an 8ft. shark swimming around the pier. Nope, I didn't get back in the water for the rest of the trip.

Here are some pictures from Busch Gardens. I went on all 3 of the major coasters and steve went on all 4. There was this super frightening coaster called 'The griffin'. The coaster was 204 ft. tall and went to a drop of a 90 degree angle. This was too much for me, I would have had a panic attack considering that at the very top, they rolled you OVER the edge for 5 seconds then DROPPED you. HECK NO! Look at the 3rd picture, look HOW HIGH. When steve got off the ride he said I would have had a freak out, maybe even cried! Ha, im a baby. The red and yellow looking coaster I road that one. That was SUPER high for me. But not the highest one we went on 'together'.

The food picture is the meal steve got at Busch Gardens for lunch. Not a simple 6 dollar lunch, they charge out the you know what for food out there. He had 'ribs' for lunch. Delicious. I had pizza cuz that's my favorite!! Yup, and I thought of you dad.

Hope this brought some smiles.
Love you all!

FishNdress

Yup, this is me fishing in a dress but it was SO hot. I asked Steve if he wanted his picture taken but we didn't get any. I stopped counting after 12 fish maybe this was the reason. Nah, he is not like that. He was happy that I was able to catch so many since I never get to fish that much.
I think that Paw-Paw would have been very proud. Yes, I did use a bobber fellas, you have to use one when in a pond. It's hard for me to be patient if I don't have anything to watch.

Dad you must come next time we go there. It was a blast.
