On this day I find myself full of excitement, nerves and shock
Looking around to make sure everything is in its perfect spot.
Your bed is ready,diapers are stacked high
While taking in this very moment before it passes by.
Excited I am to see your face and hear your first cry
Ready to squeeze those cheeks and that fatty thigh.
While counting your fingers and toes
I believe I will have a love for you that no one knows.
Calm my fears Lord and let me rest in your hands today,
for I know that tomorrow will be my hardest workday.
All worth it of course, but the fear of the unknown
I trust in you that I will not be alone!

that broke me up just a little. :) see you this weekend in the hospital! i think we're gonna bring georgie with us!
