Yes, the pages were a little mixed up, but I was able to put them in order fairly easily. Sometimes our life gets like that (a little out of order), but if we do what the article said, we can put it back in order.
Selfishness causes the vast majority of all our problems. Jesus said: "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me." (Luke 9:23)
The cross Jesus spoke of here is not literal of course. He didn't want us dragging around a wooden cross wherever we go. Our cross is figurative, it's in our heart and mind. When we come up against situations where our love of self would keep us from obeying Him, we are to stop, place ourselves upon our figurative cross, and die to our sinful self.
The Christian must always keep his/her cross within easy reach. It's our only hope for living a selfless life.

Good read, girl. You make me happy.
Dad, I have truly enjoyed this book so far. I do want to still read your book you keep suggesting. Don't let it get too far away so that I can.
