Camping-2010

What a great, great, GREAT time we had together. This place was simply wonderful. Honestly, it didn't FEEL like camping till we slept in the tent ((thanks Aaron)) and in our sleeping bags. We will have to get more family memeber's to join us in October when Steve and I make our way back for another trip. I have more pictures of the campground on my camera. I will bring them so that you can see them. Beautiful huge pond that you can fish in all year round and can camp April-October. We have great reviews for this place. Clean bathrooms/showers and campground. Loved it!!!

Got your Milk ready....Yuummmmmmmm

Fall decorations! Oh, I just love shopping to change season's inside the house. Ya, I'm a spender my husband reminds me every other day when on our door step, is boxes from online ordering. =) We have had a few realtor's show our house.

These are the NEW cookies I have just made. Dad, you will be totally happy with them!!! They taste and look like the real thing. These are gluten-free, dairy free, vegan cookies. Tomorrow we have a staff meeting at work. We also celebrate people's birthday's once a month at the meeting. This will be a great time to test 'healthy' desserts on more people. Heck, I should just set up a stand on Friday/Saturdays and sell them on the market downtown. Yum yum!!! You think I could do that??

Thumbs up God!!!!!

He is just amazing!! My friend caught this shot on the way outside of work. Steve always notices how I pay attention to the sky and clouds. I told him how I want to just take pictures of the sky for a living. Sometimes I believe God just paint's away and says TA-DAAAAA, look at what I did. And He can't wait to see who looks up and appreciates His beautifulness. ((yup, that's my word))

Organic, Gluten-Free Desserts

I have been on this journey for a little while. Changing our lives from normal, fast food, eat out of a box American's to a healthier way of living/eating. Eating organic, cage-free, no hormones injected, raw, all natural way of eating. You can see above these are a few of the products it takes to make such dishes. I am in the midst of clearing out our cabinets of no canned foods, no box cakes, no can sauces, no casseroles etc. Trust me, once you start to make the change it's HARD but once a few weeks into it.....even PIZZA doesn't taste the same. I mean good pizza from Frank's didn't even taste the same. You change your taste buds and make your mind up.

Above in the first and second picture: Coconut Cupcakes with Key Lime Frosting. ((only bad, heavy cream in the frosting))

Third picture: Yummy yummy Chocolate Chip Cookies made with Almond Meal that's why they are kinda dark looking. ((didn't have almond flour but Im on the look out for some))

So heads up family, the holidays are coming, new recipes I am trying out on you guys. I WON'T be gaining weight back b/c of the Holidays. Im going to eat right beside you, just more aware of what my body doesn't need or want. Cheers.

2 years and counting.....

Steve doing what he does best. Soaking in as much AC he can handle. This boy was not afraid for what he was about to do. He was making sure NOT to pass out b/c of the heat ;)

Looking back I am so thankful that GiGi got to view this big day and be there for her grandson. What a blessing she was in the time I got to know her and that witty humor. My how I miss her.

Don't know WHAT Steve was telling me in this picture, I think we BOTH were trying to NOT pass out b/c ALL eyes were on us by this point. Oh the pressure and anxiety we both have. =) Walking off into the most beautiful sunset ever. God showed us that He was there with many blessings. By giving us a sunset, cool breeze and a beautiful full moon. All of this was taking place while saying our vows.

Kris did an amazing job with the center pieces, the flowers, decorations. My oh my Im sure we gave her anxiety and stomach ulcers but she did fantastic and was well worth it. Let HER help plan your wedding!!!

2 years and Im counting down to the big 5-0 years. Only 48 more to go. Not that it's over at 50, it's just a step in this journey together that I look forward to with the LOVE OF MY LIFE!!! The man who brings a smile to my face, love in my heart, confidence in my soul. He is an encourager, amazing hard worker, dedicated to always putting me first and making sure Im happy. He is the man that I wish we had more of. Replica's of Steve would make many woman out there happy to have and realize Love is NOT dead, men can still be gentlemen and love you just as you are. ok, Im going to cry now. ha!

Happy Anniversary Babe, baby, booboo, boosie poosie, sweetie.

Pre-Labor Day Fun 9/5/10

Much fun was had with the combination of yearout and nelson families. Lot's of kiddie fun, great burgers and hotdogs ((no bun of course)) prepared by the wonderful chef Bob! Steve and I truly enjoyed our time this evening especially with all of us playing in the backyard. Steve was a trooper even with the sling on, he still gave this kids much attention and wasn't limited too bad. =) We need MORE gatherings than just 'Holiday' gatherings I do believe. Plus, this helps me with my baby fix when it arises. heheh

Focus.BarbellClass.Focus

That's right, Im lifting all that weight. Here in the picture is a 25pd and 3 10's on each side equaling a total of 155pds. This is my new working weight for deadlifts. My one rep MAX for deadlifts is: 180 pds. I have to tell you that about 2 months ago my MAX deadlift was exactly 155 pds. So in just a little over 2 months I can lift 25 more pounds. Goodness gracious Im getting strong.

Steve's MAX deadlift is 405pds!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can I say that again 405pds!!!!!! His working weight is 345pds. I got me a strong man over here, watch out any robbers or stealers. Don't come into our house. We will deadlift ya, and throw you ACROSS the room.

Steve and I will have completed a 12 week Barbell class about 2 weeks into September. All the while developing stronger muscle and achieving goals we have never met in our past. This has truly been exciting to see both of us grow. Steve must quit the class 2 week shy of completion due to rotary cuff surgery on Aug. 28th. So keep him in your prayers that day. His mom and dad will be taking care of him the first couple of days due to my job of never ending work. I can't take care of him the way he needs to be cared for. Thanks Mr. and Mrs. Bono =)

P.s---I will have a picture of me doing a pull up very shortly, Im almost there dad...almost got it.
